Always Cute ((& Affordable )) Aprons at Grandiflora!

As you know, we love cute aprons at Grandiflora.

We carry locally handcrafted varieties....and also some from really hip companies.

Here is a sampling of some of the aprons that should be coming in soon......

We've had a few of these in before, and some will be totally new to us...like this one...

We've been waiting for a long time to get this pretty one in. The company says it should be here in mid June....ahhh the life of a buyer.

Trying to coordinate all the goodies to come in when we need them to be here for you.

We try our hardest....but it's much more "involved" than you could ever dream!

I eat, drink, sleep & live product.

Where can I source it, when can I get it and most importantly....how much will it cost?

Will you be happy with the price? ...if not....then we don't buy it...period.

It would be simple to buy for a shop on

Rodeo Drive...not so for Grover Street.

We are very cost conscious....on your behalf.

We want to find the cutest looks for the best prices...it's work alright....HARD work.

BUT

WE LOVE IT!!!

So my little cupcakes....head in soon to see the newest selection in aprons from our craftspeople & also from our suppliers who believe in cute product at great prices just like we do.

Oh Me Oh My!

I am so excited to tell you that our newest addition to the ever growing personal accessories area in the shop right now are the fab new

Sunglass Readers by Moraleyes.

That's

The reason they call themselves

is due to the fact that for every pair of glasses they sell, they give a pair of much needed glasses to the poor in developing nations!

How cool is that?!?!

We are also hosting a reading glass recycle box at the shop for you to recycle your slightly used glasses as well.

This company surely "gets it".

We are proud to sell their affordable product.

Did you know that you can get some really hot looking sunglass readers

( look like regular cool sunglasses with bi-focal insert in powers ranging from 1.5 to 2.5)

YES...they are THAT affordable!!

I mean seriously folks...where can you find a pair of sunglass readers for that low price where the company is going to donate a pair of readers on your behalf to a person in a 3rd world country who desperately needs to be able to see?

Classroom Details Coming Soon...

If you were at our

Pink-a-Palooza Party

last week, you're probably wondering what in the world we were doing with a

Classroom Setting in the shop?!?!?

Well,

We've been asked so many times to hold classes on many different topics.

(Some of you have even attended classes we've held at local Churches...weren't they fun?)

So...

we decided to work hard opening up a space in our shop to do just that:

Offer classes!

What will the classes be you ask???

Well....
here are some of the ideas we've been presented with so far:

1. CRAFTS.

Many people are following us on Pinterest these days,

if you've not had a chance to come on over and join the fun there then we invite you to!

We hope to have fun in groups of 8 or so creating some of the things we find there,

& some ideas we come up with all on our very own!

2. How To Decorate Your ______.

Ever wonder how to decorate your fireplace mantle with style?

Or are there other areas of your house that stump you?

Well, the ladies in charge of decorating at the shop can help you out in one of these classes.

3. Ever had problems deciding whether you want to commit to purchasing

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint?

Chris Kenner of Fleur de lis Design, (our in house stockist)

is already holding classes for those who are ready to learn....you can sign up NOW in the shop for full blown painting classes at her wonderful studio right here in

downtown Lynden.

But...for those of you who are undecided....she's toying with the idea of offering sample classes here at the shop.

4. Are you part of a BUNKO group?

Isn't it fun? What? You love to go when it's at someone else's house....

but not when you have to host it at your place???

Hubby complains about having to find a place to "hide with the kids" while all the ladies are over?

Think about the possibility of hosting your Bunko group here at the shop!

Now wouldn't that be fun!?!?!?

WELL,

there's much to do to make all these dreams a reality.

So many kinks to work out, and supplies to purchase.

We'll let you know when we decide to release the final details of each "class" opportunity.

ladies.

We were floored with the great participation....and the winners were difficult to choose, but we think we picked the best of the best!

We decided to honor the contestants with goodies & gift certificates.

All 4 Honorable Mention winners will receive a

Debbie won 3rd place for a classy rendition of pink from literally head to toe!
